Faithful friendship

A feeling of blossom

An everlasting connection

That doesn't break with distance­­

But by the bonds of heart

To express itself, it does not need a rostrum

It is so unique and awesome

 

Friends are like pearls

Which might tarnish but never lose value

Pearls that don’t lie on the seashore

For which you must dive to find

 

A friend in need is a friend indeed

The saying you must have surely heard

Is for the friend who is like curd

Lightens all the spices and makes things sweet

To have you complete

 

Leave the world behind

For it says you have no friend true in time

For the hatred it shows towards you

To portray you are all alone so that you discontinue

 

­­­Little does it know the inner self is the everlasting truthful friend

That can soothe the bruise

And never itself accuse

 

It's common to feel lonely

And believe you've no buddies

It's time you come out of this bubble

And welcome your only faithful and truly buddy

Which is clearly yourself - your double

 

Come on let's start by wishing ourselves

And opening doors for our newly accepted pal

To increase our morale

 

Your first and last friend is you and just you

It isn't too few

Because it's like glue

Which will never unscrew

 

Remember your first and last friend is just you and not new!
