Happy World Book Day!...Books - A Perception of Life

Happy World Book Day!

Books, books and books! A collection of just not content but imaginative visions, perceptions and thoughts that have a great influence on people who read.

As the quote of Ernest Hemingway says, “There is no friend as loyal as a book.” Today we celebrate and reminiscence the memories and days we spent with our books as we read through and between the lines.

World Book Day also known as (World Book and Copyright Day) is celebrated primarily on 23th April in India. In 1995, UNESCO decided that World Book Day will be celebrated on 23rd April now onwards keeping in mind that the date is also the death  anniversary of William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega as well as the birth or death anniversary of other prominent authors, writers, poets. It is a day to commemorate people who have done wonders in English literature and writing. This day also focuses on encouraging and spreading awareness to people to write more, read more and publish books.

“Books set wings to imagination and creativity as the perceptions and thoughts flow through the reader's mind and it emerges out their opinions as well. It’s such a great thing to have numerous things stuffed in one thing and word – Books.”

Read…So you never feel alone.
