A Faithful Thread of Hope (Lord Ganesha)

Ganesha – also known as Ganpati Bappa, Vinayak or Vignaharta, is one of the most-worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. He is worshipped in India as well as in many other countries overseas. Although Ganesha has many attributes, he is readily identified by his elephant head. He is widely revered, more specifically, as the remover of obstacles and thought to bring good luck. 

 

 A Faithful Thread of Hope 

A God in India, A god everywhere, 

A god worshipped overseas and in India every now and then,

A god with instruments to kill the virus spread, 

I bind my trust and hope with a faithful thread, 

Wishing that you free us from this cage as soon as this had spread. 

Let this thread of faith be alive!

Oh Lord you know your powers, please listen to my plea, 

Visualize and feel what is happening everywhere around, 

Adults passing, kids dying, 

People sleeping famished and tensed, 

No work, 

No school, 

No outings, 

Afraid people staying locked home alone unable to meet their loved ones. 

Let this thread of faith be alive! 

Oh Lord you know your powers, please listen to my plea, 

We try our best to stay safe, 

But something or the other happens, making us unsafe. 

What can we do? Guide us my lord, guide us! 

Let this thread of faith be alive!

Oh Lord you know your powers, please listen to my plea, 

I always see you as a friend, 

I hope you keep my trust and hope, 

And not let me down by breaking the thread, 

If this happens, I will shatter too.

Oh my friend Ganesha, 

You are known as the demolisher of obstacles, please keep this belief alive, 

Banish off this huge storm gusted into all our lives. 

I pray to you with my hands placed firmly together, knees bent and head bowed, 

Pinning on my hopes to not be saddened and lowered. 

The thread of faith has to stay alive!

आशा का एक विश्वासयोग्य धागा 

भारत के भगवान,  हर देश के भगवान,

एक भगवान की पूजा विदेशों में और भारत में हर जगह होती है,

एक देवता जो कोई भी वायरस को मार सकते  हैं,

मैं अपने विश्वास और आशा को एक वफादार धागे से बांधती हूँ,

कामना है कि आप हमें इस पिंजरे से उतनी ही जल्दी मुक्त करें जितनी ही जल्दी से यह वायरस फैला था

विश्वास के इस धागे को जीवित रहने दीजिए! 

 

हे प्रभु, आप अपनी शक्तियों को जानते हैं, कृपया मेरी विनती सुनें,

कल्पना करें और महसूस करें कि हर जगह क्या हो रहा है,

वयस्क गुजर रहे हैं, बच्चे मर रहे हैं,

भूखे और तनाव में सो रहे लोग,

कोई काम नहीं,

स्कूल नहीं,

कोई सैर नहीं,

डरे हुए लोग अकेले घर में बंद हैं और अपनों से नहीं मिल पा रहे हैं।

विश्वास के इस धागे को जीवित रहने दीजिए! 

 

हे प्रभु, आप अपनी शक्तियों को जानते हैं, कृपया मेरी विनती सुनें,

हम सुरक्षित रहने की पूरी कोशिश करते हैं,

लेकिन कुछ न कुछ ऐसा होता है, जिससे हम असुरक्षित हो जाते हैं।

हम क्या कर सकते है? हमारा मार्गदर्शन करो मेरे प्रभु, हमारा मार्गदर्शन करो!

विश्वास के इस धागे को जीवित रहने दीजिए! 

 

हे प्रभु, आप अपनी शक्तियों को जानते हैं, कृपया मेरी विनती सुनें,

मैं आपको हमेशा एक दोस्त के रूप में देखती हूँ,

मुझे आशा है कि आप मेरा विश्वास बनाए रखेंगे,

और यह धागा तोड़कर मुझे निराश नहीं करेंगे,

विश्वास के इस धागे को जीवित रहने दीजिए! 

 

हे मेरे मित्र गणेश,

आप विघ्न-विनाशक कहलाते हैं, कृपया इस विश्वास को जीवित रखें,

हम सभी के जीवन में आए इस भीषण तूफान को दूर भगाइये।

मैं आपसे प्रार्थना करती हूँ,

मेरे हाथ आपके सामने जुड़े हुए हैं, घुटने मुड़े हुए हैं और सिर झुका हुआ है,

मुझे आशा है कि आप मुझे दुखी और निराश नहीं करेंगे।

 

आस्था के इस धागे को जिंदा रहना होगा!
