Never Judge a Book by its Cover!

Never Judge a Book by its Cover!

"All that Glitters is not gold", I am sure most of you must have heard this proverb. And I completely agree to this proverb. So do not think that what you look or anybody else looks like defines the person you are or somebody else is. You should always try to understand people and see how they are from the inside rather than the outside. Appearances are deceptive. Beauty, appearances and all its glamour are not what defines someone or something.

One of the easiest things to do is to judge someone or remove faults. And especially by their appearance. Never judge anyone by their appearance, or the car they drive, or the house they live in, or even by the words they say. Recognise people by their actions. That’s how you know whether they’re good or bad. Don't judge people. You never know what kind of battle they are fighting. Instead of judging anybody, try to make their lives better and find out what sorrows they have.

This mostly happens with women. Almost everyone has an opinion on a woman’s appearance. Some people just have the decency to keep it to themselves. From the length of her skirt, to the tightness of her jeans, from the height of her heels to the color of her lipstick: we are all guilty of judging people by their exterior. The problem is that there isn’t an outfit that a woman can wear without being judged. We are trying to find meaning behind everything, even if there is nothing to find. The media doesn´t help much, in fact they often build walls instead of bridges.

Nobody is perfect and nobody deserves to be perfect. Nobody has it easy, everybody has issues. You never know what people are going through. So pause before you start judging, criticizing, or mocking others. Everybody is fighting their own unique war!

So do not judge by appearances,

as a rich heart maybe under a poor coat!
